   SPREEMEDIA.COM: Suggestion Four:
Your site should be ‘interactive’ - meaning you should try to actively involve your visitor.
A successful website actively involves the visitor in meaningful interactive activities.

This can be done by providing two-way e-mail communication, sign-up or registration
forms and other interactive features, like a guestbook.

All feedback from your site is essential. This gives your customer a sense of participation
and allows them to be a part of the process. One strategy that is usefull, is to provide
site visitors with access to specific key people in your company, rather than some
 anonymous link, for example: "info@urcompany.com."

You do not have to provide a person’s name per se, but email links like the following
does give the appearnace of an organized business operation:

 sales@urcompany.com
 products@urcompany.com
 inquiries@urcompany.com
 staff@urcompany.com
 shipping@urcompany.com

The most important appeal of the Internet, which makes it much more effective than most
other types of media, is this unique interactive feature. Use it to your advantage!

Suggestion Five:

Provide articles, tips, news, etc., about your industry. This provides a major incentive to your
visitors to return to your site and also recommend it to their friends or business associates.
Successful websites make use of this ONE online business strategy in a way that encourages
their visitors to be ready, willing and able to buy their products or services.

Suggestion Six:
Develop a clearly defined Sales Process. Provide a way to help guide your visitor through
the ordering process? Offer multiple payment options: checks, credit cards, purchase orders,
money orders [or even the use of PayPal or
ClickBank].

Make sure you include both online forms and Email 'hot links' to your ordering process.
Be sure to include your telephone and Fax numbers on your site. Your location and business
addresses [including a direction map to your physical location, if you do have one] are very
 essential.

Suggestion Seven:
This tip was left for last, however, it is an extremely important part of any successful Web
initiative. Successfully marketing and promoting your Web site is so important, yet most
business owners fall flat on their faces when it comes to this activity.

Why is it so important? Simply because, the majority of Internet users begin their browsing
using one of the major search engines - like Yahoo!, LookSmart, Nothern Light, Google, MSN,
AOLSearch, etc. It is then a smart move to think of how you are going to promote your Web
site, once it has been created and is online for the whole world to view.

Their are two options available to the average online business owner:

Option One is to spend countless hours learning about the various search engines;
locating them online; visiting each one and submitting the information about your site.

This first option is a very time consuming process because each search engine has a different
set of rules for site submissions.

Option Two is to hire a professional site submission service to do the work for you.
These services charge a premium to submit your site to the major search engines and,
to make matters worse, search engines are now charging a fee to review and list [index]
your site in their search engine.

We offer a site submission service that is both affordable and convenient to Web site owners.
 You can go to this
link for more information. Save yourself some time, money, aggravation
and frustrations. Just remember this one fact - successfully
submiting your Web site or sites
to the major search engines and Web directories takes time, patience and strategy.

The bottomline is this: If you can make your site and the ordering process well organized,
easy to use and understand, you will have already succeeded in moving your
Web site way
ahead of your competition in a manner that is lost on thousands and thousands of business
owners who have created an online presence to represent their business
ventures.
